1. It gets colder
You know it’s almost winter when the temperature drastically drops and dread leaving your bed. Everyday.
2. Starbucks releases their red cups
The red cup is Starbucks’ way of welcoming the holidays while bringing back their traditional holiday-themed lattes such as Eggnog, Gingerbread, and Caramel Brule.
3. It’s out with pumpkin and in with peppermint
When it’s winter peppermint is the main ingredient to everything. Coffee, chocolate, lotions, you name it! We just can’t get enough!
4. Advertising
When retail stores start adverting Christmas before Halloween is over!
5. Black Friday and Cyber Monday
One of the biggest signs that winter is coming the mass amount of pre-holiday shopping that takes place.
6. You get time off
Let’s be honest, you know when winter is coming because you’re already planning how you will spend your winter break. Netflix, hot chocolate, and your warm bed!
