7 Shows That You Should Binge Watch on Netflix Now

1. Dexter

Warning: This show is not for the faint of heart.

There’s something oddly lovable about this “good” serial killer; Maybe it’s his awkward dry humor or the way he shoves all his victims’ wrongdoings in their faces before slicing up their bodies into baggable pieces. Either way, you’ll get hooked on the story line and find yourself crying in a ball and contemplating what to do with your life when the 8th and final season ends. Or at least I did, after finishing all eight seasons in three weeks.

2. House of Cards

Before I give you a little blurb about why this is one of the greatest shows on Netflix and maybe ever, I’d like to mention I finished all of season 2 in three days; I’m proud of that. House of Cards has it all: Kevin Spacey, drama, sex, politics, and mystery. Set in Washington D.C., this political drama takes you on a wild ride of infidelity and deception deep inside The White House. Let’s just say you won’t want each 52-minute episode to end.

3. Breaking Bad

If you haven’t at least started this show already, I hope you’ve been hiding under a rock or living Antarctica for the last 5 years. Easily one of the most addicting things since cigarettes (or so I’ve heard), the show follows a chemistry teacher turned Meth maker and dealer who gets into the drug business for all the right reasons. Apparently, there’s such a thing now as a good drug dealer. Don’t tell the children. Oh, did I mention he has cancer? Walter White, kids, is what you call a badass.

4. White Collar

Well dressed and easy-on-the-eyes “ex”-con Neal Caffrey teams up with the FBI to bring down the criminals of NYC. Ironic? Completely. If you like CSI but are sick and tired of the same people and story lines, White Collar is your saving grace. It’s got drama, good-looking people, and crime at every corner. You’ll be covering your eyes almost every episode at how close Neal comes to getting caught. Oh, I forgot to add he hasn’t exactly given up his bad boy ways.

5. Chuck

A computer geek turned CIA asset has his life completely turned upside down when he downloads a top-secret computer program into his brain. Not to mention, everyone is out to get him and that app. Don’t worry though, he has a sexy duo there to protect him as they go on missions around the world. Seriously, Chuck will have you up until 5am on a Monday not wanting to turn off your computer.

6. Gossip Girl

This show made me fall in love with New York all over again: the fashion, the lifestyle, the lavish parties. Gossip Girl has everything and more that you would ever want in a teen drama. It will have you mesmerized by the first “XOXO”. You’ll have a constant love-hate relationship with almost every single character. There’re more relationships on this show than George Clooney’s had – and that’s saying a lot. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with gorgeous people, NYC, and drama.

7. Revenge

I recently just watched three seasons in two weeks and let me tell you it is addicting beyond belief. Emily Thorn’s isn’t who she seems in fact she isn’t her at all. Moving to the Hampton’s after a rather unconventional childhood, she’s surrounded by the people that she loathes the most, but that’s exactly what she wants. Twisted, right? After the end of each episode, you won’t even wait the 15 seconds for Netflix to automatically play the next one; you’ll have already clicked “play next” as fast as your fingers will let you.

Good luck with not going to class for the next couple of weeks. You’re welcome.

Peace.

Mads.

Just your not-so-average twenty something trying to navigate this crazy thing called life. I am not a dentist (wanted to clarify that). I do, however, have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Netflix and Hockey.

Game of Thrones isn’t on Netflix, as it’s an HBO title. Also, it’s Lannister, not Lancaster… Did you actually watch it? I’m doubting it.
