5 Ways To Get Yourself To Class

Sometimes it just seems impossible to get yourself to make it to class. Every college student has this problem at some point. Whether you’re someone who has this problem every day or just once in a blue moon, here are a few tips on how to force yourself to class.

1. Take class with a friend. Registering for class with a friend can definitely increase your chances of showing up to class. You can be a good influence on each other to go and it’s always nice to know someone in your class.

2. Choose your time wisely. When you’re registering for classes make sure you pay attention to the time slot that you’re signing up for. If you’re not a morning person then don’t sign up for an 8am because chances are you won’t be making many appearances in that class.

3. Pick a good professor. Before you sign up for a class you should look into how helpful your professor is on ratemyprofessor.com. Having a nice, smart, and reasonable professor can really make a major difference in your grade because you’re more likely to actually go to that class.

4. Car on campus. This is a major help for all the lazy college kids out there. Sometimes you’re just too tired to go to class, it’s raining, or you’re hung-over and don’t want to walk to class. It’s definitely worth it to pay for a parking pass especially if you go to a big school.

 5. Future. Whenever you’re thinking about skipping class, try to remind yourself that you’re practically going bankrupt in college so that you can have a successful future. Sometimes it just takes that little reminder to be a kick of motivation to get you to go to class.
