5 Things That Every College Student Is Thankful For

5) Wikipedia. I feel bad for the generations before mine that didn’t have the privilege of knowing Wikipedia. It’s hard to imagine the possibility of me graduating without having the ability to look up my homework on the Internet. Sometimes, your professor just straight up sucks at teaching and you have no other choice than looking up information online. So thank you Wikipedia. #YouTheRealMVP

4) Ramen Noodles. Let’s face it, the dining hall is no Golden Corral. That shit is nasty 99% of the time. If you’re in a rush for class, don’t have time to cook, or simply just don’t know how to cook, then Ramen Noodles are a life saver. God bless the man who invented it.

3) Music. It’s not human to dislike music. Everyone enjoys jamming out no matter what the scenario may be. Personally, I NEED my headphones if I’m on my way to class, because it relaxes me and I love it vibing out before entering a boring lecture. Let’s not forget that glorious moment when your song comes on at a party and you can’t help but dance your ass off. Music is everything and definitely something to be thankful for.

2) Advil. Yes lawwwd!!! This semester, I have a morning class on Fridays, but that doesn’t mean I won’t participate in thirsty Thursday! The key to fixing my hangovers, or at least partially, is popping some Advil before class. This goes for all students, but especially if you’re a wine drinker, then I know Advil is most likely your best friend.

1) Roommates. Take it from someone who had a nightmare of a roommate for freshman year. Having your girls or guys to come home to really makes you love your life at school so much more. Whether I’m coming home from class just to see my girls and chill or get ready to turn up, I’m always in a rush to see them because I’m so thankful for their company. It sucks living alone and it sucks to live with someone you can’t stand. With that said, I couldn’t be more thankful for my perfect roommates!
