16 Colleges Where It Is Most Difficult To Get An ‘A’

Stuart Rojstaczer, a Duke professor, started GradeInflation.com, a website which looks at – you guessed it – grade inflation. Using the data he collected, Rojstaczer was able to identify the 16 colleges where it is the toughest to get an ‘A.’ His research also indicated that it was indeed more difficult to get an ‘A’ at a state school. In fact, many selective universities give out more ‘A’s’ than state schools do. (State schools have an average GPA of 3.01 while private schools 3.3.) Nevertheless, see if your school made the list:

2) MIT

3) Princeton University

4) Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
